Introduction by Jeremy Salt
In my position, as head of the Henley Salt Design Team, I am extremely proud of our achievements at the internationally recognised Chelsea and Hampton Court Palace Flower Shows. This is now my tenth year at the shows and we have now completed twenty show gardens in various guises.
On a lighter note, we have sometimes been seen as the bad boys of the RHS Shows, for daring to be different, pushing the boundaries and taking a risk! This is a label we quite like; it shows that we have achieved our position through hard work, talent and conviction. Whether it is good business, is another matter but for us, the thrill of competing against some of the best garden designers in the world at the Chelsea Flower Show is an opportunity not to be missed. |
